Quin Marine has been a well respected Icon of Port Adelaide in South Australia for 87 years. In 1836 Captain Hugh Quin arrived in the new colony of South Australia aboard the ship Cygnet. Captain Quins grandson,(also a Hugh Quin 1880-1950) and renowned sail maker to the local fishing fleet, founded Hugh Quin Pty Ltd at Port Adelaide in September 1921 and established a sail loft.

From these beginnings up until the present day, Stan Quin, great great grandson of Captain Hugh Quin is at the helm as Managing Director and Quins has continued to expand and diversify into a substantial marine business and has progressed in the areas of Sales, Service, Importing and Distribution of Marine Electronics, boats, and other equipment including engineering and fabrication of netting products for all applications from sports nets to Tuna cages.

The Electronic Service Department has the expertise and ability to perform and supply the commercial fishing industry with services to the highest of standards commensurate with the strict guidelines of IACS.

This level of service also extends from commercial fishing to the leisure industry with supply of marine electronic navigation equipment most of which we service on site in our Port Adelaide workshop using qualified technicians and factory support because we service what we sell without the delays associated in sending equipment back to manufacturers for service.
